HYALOGRAN® Biodegradable Wound Dressing

HYALOGRAN is an absorbent wound dressing made from microgranules of HYAFF®, an ester of hyaluronic acid (HA) and sodium alginate, both of which are naturally occurring polysaccharides.

HYALOGRAN absorbs wound exudate and is transformed into a soft gel, which naturally molds into the wound and allows for the removal of necrotic tissue.

The HYALOGRAN Advantage

  • Absorbs wound exudate
  • Easy application and removal
  • Naturally conforms to fit the wound
  • Supports effective debridement
  • Sterile and ready to use
  • Natural, non-animal source decreases likelihood of negative reactions

HYALOGRAN is a 510(k)-exempt medical device, and it is CE-marked with the following indications: used in the management of a variety of exuding wounds including leg ulcers, pressure sores, ischemic and diabetic wounds, particularly those which are covered with slough and necrotic tissue or areas that are difficult to dress.
