Customer Service Representative

Location: Sarasota, FL

Summary of Functions:

  • Direct and assist in the activities of the Customer Service Department
  • Assist in all manner of corporate communications on company behalf with customers and distributors
  • Be able to create, edit, proofread and maintain documents within the Parcus regulatory environment
  • Produce and analyze reports with Excel
  • Be able to effectively learn and teach the Parcus CRM
  • Direct communication with customers, sales representatives, domestic/international distributors
  • Must be able to multi-task in a small office environment

Reporting:

This position reports to the Customer Service Manager at Parcus Medical.

Major Duties and Responsibilities/Authority:

  • Become intimately familiar with the Parcus Order Entry System and be able to teach others (delivered and non-delivered orders)
  • Create reports for sales, customers and distributors upon request
  • Work with the Parcus Regulatory team to create a comprehensive document control system
  • Able to prepare Certificates of Compliance and Custom documents (International orders)
  • Assist in the timely resolution of safety and quality issues raised by customers or staff
  • Support Parcus Medical Quality System and Safety and Health Program by following procedures and advising others
  • Understand and assist in maintaining the Cost per Case (CPC) program, customer consignments and consignment inventory tracking
  • Familiarity with distribution networks and regional sales managers
  • Maintain price list confidentiality
  • Issue, document and process Return Goods Authorizations in accordance with Parcus Regulatory team
  • Change Orders in accordance with Parcus Regulatory team
  • Back up the shipping department if necessary

Physical Requirements:

  • The employee may lift and/or move physical inventory weighting up to 10 pounds.
  • The employee might frequently sit for long periods of time

Experience and/or Educational Requirements:

  • 2 years experience in a customer service position
  • Ability to work well in a team setting
  • Must be competent in MS office programs
  • Previous medical device experience or medical training a plus
