HYALOSS® Matrix Adjunct for Dental Bone Grafting

Transform Handling

HYALOSS Matrix is constituted by bundles of fibers entirely made of HYAFF®, a solid derivative of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring component of the body.

When in contact with sterile saline or the patient’s blood, HYALOSS Matrix turns into a gel that helps in the application of bone grafts into a dental bone defect. The gelling properties of the product allow the surgeon to prepare a bony paste with adequate consistency, improving handling and retention at the application site.

The HYALOSS Matrix Advantage

  • Forms a compact gel promoting bone graft application in the bone defect
  • Easy handling
  • Easily conforms to any defect type
  • Biocompatible and naturally resorbed
  • Natural, non-animal source

HYALOSS Matrix is CE-marked for use in dental surgery as an adjunct for bone graft application in bone voids or defects. HYALOSS Matrix is used to facilitate handling and application of bone chips without affecting the normal process of osseous regeneration made by the bone graft component.
