JALOSKIN®
Description
Jaloskin® is a transparent film dressing composed of HYAFF®, a benzyl ester of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occurring constituent of the extracellular matrix and a major component of human skin.
Indications
Jaloskin is indicated for the management of superficial moderately exuding wounds including pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, chronic vascular ulcers, surgical wounds (donor sites/grafts, post-Moh's surgery, post-laser surgery, podiatric, wound dehiscence), trauma wounds (abrasions, lacerations, skin tears), and first and second degree burns.
Features
Jaloskin is easily applied as a transparent film and keeps wounds moist.
Benefits
Moist wound environments are conducive to wound healing. Because Jaloskin is transparent, constant visual monitoring of the wound is possible. Jaloskin does not adhere to the wound, and can be removed without causing trauma to the newly-formed tissue.
