MONOVISC

MONOVISC™, the only single-injection viscosupplement approved for use in all synovial joints, was recently launched in Europe. Viscosupplements treat the pain of osteoarthritis by injecting a hyaluronic acid solution into the synovial joint space, replacing the body's natural hyaluronic acid which deteriorates in osteoarthritic joints. Most available viscosupplements require a series of 3 to 5 injections for full treatment.
