Hiring Process

The Hiring Process involves several steps, designed to ensure that there is a match for both the candidate and the Company.

An initial review of the resume is completed to ensure that the candidate has the core requirements for the position. This includes education, years of experience, and the technical expertise as outlined in the position listing.

Accepted resumes are forwarded to the Hiring Manager for further review, and if there is interest, a telephone screening call is scheduled between the candidate, Hiring Manager and HR. This interview is designed to share more specific information in order to assure there is compatibility and interest from both parties. This call usually lasts 30 minutes, after which a face-to-face interview may be scheduled.

During the face-to-face portion of the process, a candidate can expect to meet not only the Hiring Manager and a representative of HR, but also several key members of the Anika team with whom the candidate would have daily interaction.  All final candidates at the level of Manager and above will also have a final interview with our President and CEO, Dr. Charles Sherwood.

Offers are extended in writing and require a full background check and a signed non-disclosure/non-compete agreement.
