Anika Therapeutics, Inc. develops, manufactures and commercializes therapeutic products intended to repair, protect and heal bone, cartilage and soft tissue. Our products are based on hyaluronic acid (HA), a biocompatible polymer found throughout the body that enhances joint function and coats, protects, cushions and lubricates soft tissues.
Anika's current commercial products focus on ophthalmic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, surgical anti-adhesion and osteoarthritis conditions. Active new product development initiatives focus on novel HA formulations in these and other applications.
